Rabobank: Generic Import Export System to Improve Document Management

They serve 8.8 million retail and wholesale customers worldwide in the food and agricultural sectors with a full range of financial services. Globally active in 40 countries, Rabobank has 440 foreign places of business and employs over 48,000 people.

Business Challenge

The key objective of the project was to develop the GIE (Generic Import Export) solution for Rabobank to improve document management within the organization.


The GIE system developed by Infopulse is based on Microsoft BizTalk Server. The chosen platform allows keeping broad functionality on generic document processing and is much easier in application maintenance. The clients of the GIE system use any common interface to access and operate with the system. It can be any custom client for such transports as E-mail, FTP, MSMQ, MQSeries, and so on.
