EDB, Infopulse Ukraine and Revacom Manage Windows 7 Migrations Globally

Successful cooperation between Infopulse and Revacom

Infopulse peopleEDB Business Partner, Infopulse Ukraine and Revacom, a leading European provider specializing in application change services, set up a strategic partnership to manage Windows 7 migrations at a global scale. This strategic partnership comes as a logical result of a successful cooperation between Infopulse and Revacom which already started back in 2005.

“For Revacom as a company and for myself as Global Sourcing Manager, the move to Ukraine was a move to a completely new horizon. And to make it clear from the beginning: It definitely was a good one! Before making this decision we were looking at a range of countries. After Infopulse peoplecarefully evaluating the pro’s and con’s, we decided to start building the first team in cooperation with Infopulse in Ukraine and hired 7 trainees in September 2005 . Soon, it will already be half a decade that we are working together. We are proud to say that Ukrainian IT specialists and our professionals from Germany, Switzerland, Denmark and most recently New Zealand, are able to work hand in hand within projects of a global scale. We believe that not only the strong technical skills but especially the attitude and the mind set of our employees in Ukraine have contributed to this success.

Christian BernerTo make it very clear: We are navigating in a globalized market with the fiercest competition, where only the best mix of price and quality will prevail. Therefore, it is a real competitive advantage that an Infopulse IT specialist will view the solution of a difficult technical question as a personal challenge and work towards the accomplishment of a task with the highest determination. With this assurance in mind, our delivery managers, who are working in direct daily contact with the customer, can demonstrate that Revacom is performing better than our competitors. Therefore I am grateful to our employees here in Ukraine and confident about the future. And I am looking forward to many more years of successful cooperation with Infopulse! – Christian Berner

Setting up strategic partnership

This cooperation combines the benefits of EDB’s global footprint with own subsidiaries in 16 countries around the globe, Infopulse’s powerful offshore centers in Ukraine and the efficient combined onsite/offshore delivery model for application change services developed by Revacom.

“Globally distributed organizations, in particular in the financial and the energy sector, require a smart infopulse-people-2and well managed mixture of offshore and onsite delivery capabilities to run OS migrations smoothly
and seamlessly. The global footprint of EDB, along with the highly motivated and very skilled offshore staff working in our delivery centers at Infopulse in Ukraine, enable Revacom to provide a truly global delivery model to fit even the largest application change programs for customers around the globe,” explains Christian Berner, Head of Global Sourcing and Business Development of the Revacom Group.

In 2007, EDB purchased the majority of shares of Infopulse. This move added rock solid financial and operational stability to the Revacom delivery model, which is an important criterion for the sourcing decisions of large multinational customers.
