That is why the company constantly tries to support various initiatives aimed at improvement of the security. This includes conferences conducted by the Ukrainian Information Security Group (UISG), which gather security-professionals to share their experiences and come up with new solutions. Infopulse Ukraine was one of the sponsors of the sixth conference of the Group conducted in May, which gathered approximately 200 participants and guests.
The main initiator of this event was the employee of Infopulse Ukraine — security manager Gleb Pakharenko known as one of the leading specialists in this area in Ukraine. At this conference he made a report entitled Counteracting Advanced Threats. One more representative of Infopulse Ukraine, IT engineer Kirill Sukhostavsky, was among the lead speakers at the conference. He informed about protection of a digital identity.
Altogether, several dozens of reports dedicated to most burning topics of information security were presented at the event. The public was especially interested in the presentation by Jart Armin, a world-known cybercrime crusader, on the latest botnet trends. He also emphasized how important it is for Ukraine to fight IT crime.
