Engagement Manager

Infopulse offers first-class solutions in software development, IT infrastructure management, and information security, and has a reputation of being a trustworthy full-cycle IT-services provider. We are looking for an experienced, committed, and talented Engagement Manager (m/f/d) for focused promotion of our SCM product (http://infopulse-scm.com) and related IT services on the German market. The focus should be on the acquisition of new customers and business development.

The Engagement Manager should cooperate closely with the Infopulse management, the marketing and sales team as well as technical experts, and maintain external relationships with customers and partners.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Customer-related tasks:
    • Discover new customers, elaborate leads, and opportunities
    • Present the functionality of the product, related services, typical use cases, competence and experience of Infopulse and partners (e.g., to CIOs, DPOs, compliance officers, etc.)
    • Identify customer needs and prepare corresponding offers
    • Establish and maintain customer relationships
    • Prepare contracts and order processing
  • Company-related tasks:
    • Identify weaknesses, strengths, and new business opportunities
    • Understand the market, competitors, trends, and generation proposals for product improvements
    • Prepare and review presentations, product/project descriptions, and other materials
    • Evaluate the content of the company website
    • Maintain the sales funnel and report on sales effectiveness
    • Make suggestions for the improvement of practices and tools
    • Carry out the follow-up of Infopulse's marketing strategy in Germany, the DACH region

Qualifications

  • A degree in management, sales, IT, or a combination of these specialties
  • Several years of sales experience in IT, software products, IT managed services, IT security and a track record of previous sales achievements
  • Experience of selling software products and IT services around Microsoft/AWS/HP/SAP products, selling to software distributors, IT service providers, system integrators, telecommunication companies, or other relevant companies on the German market
  • In-depth knowledge of German high-tech industry and community with contacts, in particular to IT service operators, IT integrators, and management of other relevant organizations
  • Fluent spoken and written German and English
  • Class B driving license
