L2 Support IT Engineer (8297)

Location: Zhytomyr  |  October 08, 2019

We are looking for talented L2 Support IT Engineer who will participate in different operational and some implementation tasks within IT infrastructure of our Customer.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Monitoring systems setup and maintenance
  • Supporting on-site service desk
  • Operations support of L1 team during business time and OCD
  • Full scope of desktop support including live sessions with users
  • Business applications support
  • Operational tickets investigation/resolution
  • Reproducing of dev-related tickets and dev support
  • Patching
  • Antivirus support
  • Documentation and knowledge transfer
  • Reporting
  • Other technical tasks

Qualifications

  • Experience in system administration of infrastructure solutions:
    • MS Windows server 2012, 2016 OS and its roles (AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS, TS, etc.)
    • MS SQL 2012-2016
    • Linux OS
    • Network (TCP/IP basis)
  • Education:University Degree or equivalent

Will be an advantage

  • Nagios
  • GrayLog
  • TIG Stack (Telegraf, InfluxDB, Grafana)
  • Elasticsearch
  • Automation: PowerShell scripting
  • ITIL
  • VMware ESX, vCenter
  • MS Exchange 2013, 2016

Personal Skills

  • Well-developed ability to focus on customer demands and establish partnership relations
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience in collaboration with a team varying in personalities and psychological characteristics
  • Ability to demonstrate a positive approach, flexibility, and self-initiative
  • Good communication skills
  • Written and spoken English (Pre-Intermediate or higher).
