We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer (StorNext) responsible design, development, and write detailed automated installation and upgrade tests.
Areas of Responsibility
- Initially understand the functional and system-level components of functional and system-level components of StorNext clients
- Write new automated test routines in our existing automated test framework (called SnTest). Most of the routines are written in Perl and Python
- Candidate must have knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Mac
- Must be able to work closely with the fellow Engineers to document, diagnose, and correct problems
Qualifications
- Linux (RHEL and SUSE), Windows
- Perl, Python, C. Unix scripting languages
- Web Services
- System Administration experience
- Source Code Management (CVS, Subversion, GIT)
- Extreme focus on Test Automation, Test Development, and Agile Test Methodologies
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum BS/MS in CS, EE, or CE in Computer Science
- Experience: 5+ years
