Areas of Responsibility

• Be subject matter expert in the test automation field
• Define automated testing processes and tools
• Define and implement test automation strategy including roadmap, tools, framework & approach
• Participate in Design and Architectural reviews of suggested solutions across project teams
• Evaluate and select the best usage of test automation tools for different purposes
• Oversee technological execution of the recommended automation solution roadmap across project teams
• Provide guidance, leadership, training and mentoring to implement test automation across project teams
• Assist the management team with the technical presentation of suggested automation solutions
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices in test automation area
• Actively contribute to DEVOps and Architects community
• Identify key performance metrics for the automated testing
• Drive Test Automation community, conduct workshops, knowledge exchange and similar sessions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in automated testing for applications at service, integration and E2E levels (BE, FE)
• Excellent understanding of the benefits of using automated testing and only when applicable
• Hands-on experience in design and creation of automation framework from scratch
• Experience with taking part in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines setup
• Understanding and good experience of working according to Agile principles
• Technical qualities
• Thorough knowledge of testing theory
• Well-developed analytical skills
• Experience in estimation of testing activities (high level and detailed)
• Excellent Java and JavaScript knowledge; other programming languages will be an advantage
• Familiarity with Spring boot, ReactJS, TypeScript, Angular, JSF and others will be a plus
• Good SQL knowledge
• Practical experience with Test Automation Pyramid
• Experience of working with Linux 
• Experience with API testing
• TDD/BDD knowledge
• Experience in defining and setting up test environments
• Familiarity with Jira, Zephyr for Jira

• Pro-active communication in case of questions, issues, improvement proposals etc., is crucial
• We expect the IT Test Specialists to be team players in an international team, being able to effectively communicate in different ways
• High proficiency in both spoken and written English
• Well-developed time management skills and eagerness to easily switch contexts (flexibility)
