Qualifications
- Higher education, preferably in IT
- Experience with Al RDBMS Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c (5+ years), UNIX/Linux, Oracle DG, Oracle RAC, Networker, CommVault, Oracle CloudControl
- Experience with performance tuning and 24/7 support of global systems
- Knowledge with SQL, PL/SQL, POSIX Shell, (Python would be an asset)
- English: Intermediate and above
Would be an advantage
- Knowledge of the basics of billing systems
- UNIX/Linux administration skills
- Experience in building/maintaining fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with RedHat Cluster/Pacemaker
- Experience in executing code review
Area of responsibilities
- Ensuring the availability of Oracle database in 24/7 mode
- Execution of works on administration of Oracle database
- Fulfillment of user requests
- Interaction with software vendors, integrators, technical support, OS/Hard administrators, testers, and billing administrators
- Optimization of queries and database performance
- DB recovery after failures
- Performing periodic archiving procedures
