Areas of Responsibility

• As an Integration and Deployment Engineer, you will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, including the project planning, software deployment, configuration, migration, testing and troubleshooting phases of the ESC product
• You will collaborate closely with a customer at every stage of the project to follow the planning and timing of the project, but also to anticipate potential issues and foresee the traffic impact in case of any
• You will be involved in software testing and signalling configuration testing before each new installation or traffic migration to prevent any unexpected behaviour during activities on the live node
• As part of the migration activities, you will be responsible for creating the MoP (method of procedure) and presenting it to the customer with a clear vision of the upcoming event
• You will drive all activities from the customer side in front of the end MNO representative and guide the counterpart from the MNO side in case of any request for help or configuration change requests on the newly installed node in the network
• As a Support Engineer you will be responsible for all signalling related components as part of STP, MNP, EIR, ADC and other products
• You will ensure customer support for all signalling related products, providing dedicated support for network elements/features/functions

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in mobile or fixed network operations as an engineer
• Familiarity with telecommunications technologies and ITU/ETSI standards
• Knowledge of 2G,3G,4G network setups and core components, interfaces and connectivity
• Good knowledge of SS7/Sigtran, LTE, signalling call flows and roaming scenarios
• Knowledge of designing, deploying, migrating and/or operating network infrastructure
• Experience with TCP/IP network fundamentals
• Knowledge of Signalling protocol monitoring tools, protocol analysers, trace analysis
• Good operational knowledge of Network Function Virtualisation
