Infopulse is inviting a talented professional to join our project as a Senior Test Automation Engineer (Backend) for our respectable client, Tietoevry, remotely in Ukraine or Poland.
Tietoevry is one of the largest IT companies in the Nordics with 24000 employees that provide services to customers in Europe and North America.
Areas of Responsibility
- Build and execute automated test cases
- Review business requirements to write test cases and test plans
- Identify and document all levels of testing including functional, integration, user acceptance and exploratory
- Analyze test results, troubleshooting issues and write up defects with a high level of detail
- Be responsible for communicating daily progress, issues, and risks
- Be highly collaborative with test and dev engineers and business partners to deliver the highest quality
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in automated testing of web and mobile applications - feature tests and integrative tests
- 5+ years of experience in automated testing of backend systems (Java)
- Understanding of the transition from different test phases (test automation/CI test/integration)
- Manual and automated testing of SOAP and REST APIs
- Experience in the development of Java-based test automation software/test framework (an advantage)
- Knowledge of:
- Programming languages: Java, JavaScript, SQL
- Frameworks/technologies: Selenium, Selenide, Appium, JUnit
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL
- Development tools: IntelliJ, Eclipse
- Jira, Confluence, Kibana, Grafana, Jenkins, GIT, Postman/SoapUI
- Knowledge of relevant test case creation methods
- Experience in an agile project environment – KANBAN
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
- Well-developed teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to travel to Vienna from time to time to visit customer's office
- Knowledge of German language (B1+)

- Certificate - ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level
