SAP Insurance & Claims Consultant

Infopulse is inviting a talented professional to join our growing team as a SAP Insurance & Claims Consultant.


Areas of Responsibility

  • Participating in the implementation and maintenance of a major full cycle project for the SAP S/4HANA implementation
  • Surveying and analyzing customer's business processes
  • Performing conceptual design/blueprint development and preparation of other project documentation
  • Writing functional requirement specifications for the ABAP development
  • Performing system setting, and testing the implemented solutions and development
  • Supporting key users and communicating with users
  • Supporting the system on the go-live stage
  • Collaborating with the project team in other functional areas/modules


  • Bachelor’s degree in information technologies, finance, insurance etc.
  • 3+ years of experience of implementing large SAP projects, and participation in at least two full cycle projects as an SAP Consultant with experience in Insurance & Claims
  • Deep knowledge of SAP standard functionality and Insurance & Claims


  • Setting up a process for purchasing a new insurance policy, including payment for vendor
  • Setting up a policy contract in SAP and link it to a specific object
  • Tracking the policy validity
  • Customizing policy change
  • Linking a policy to several Business Partners


  • Customizing different claim types depending on policy product (health insurance, transport insurance, cargo insurance)
  • Adding new screens with custom fields
  • Automatically setting a claim status depending on a user action executed
  • Automatically creating planned tasks, logging entries with description text, starting workflow and sending workflow items to a certain recipient depending on a claim status
  • Creating notes and log entries with detailed descriptions
  • Creating payments to business partners
  • Issuing invoices to business partners
  • Strong knowledge of BRF+ and BDT
  • Ability to collaborate in a team, readiness to solve complex tasks and provide solutions
  • Experience in integration with other SAP modules (FI, CO etc.)
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of project and service management processes
  • Good communication skills
  • Intermediate level of English and above

  • Experience of working for a multinational company
  • SAP certificates/courses
  • Practical experience with SAP S/4HANA
  • 2+ years of experience with full cycle SAP project implementation
