Senior SSIS Developer

Infopulse Brazil is inviting talented professionals for a position of Senior SSIS Developer for our Rio office and extend the inhouse team of one of our clients from Healthcare domain. 

Ares of Responsibility

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and data analysts to gather and understand data integration requirements.
  • Create and maintain data mappings, data flow diagrams, and documentation to ensure transparent and reproducible ETL processes.
  • Optimize and tune SSIS packages for performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  • Implement data cleansing, validation, and transformation logic to maintain data quality.
  • Develop and maintain data migration strategies and processes.
  • Stay current with SSIS best practices and emerging technologies to ensure our data integration solutions remain efficient and effective.
  • Work closely with database administrators and other technical teams to ensure data infrastructure and systems support ETL processes.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven 5+ years’ experience as an SSIS Developer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of purposes and features of ETL processes
  • Strong expertise in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and T-SQL.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, including query optimization and database design.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
  • C#/.Net knowledge are appreciated
  • Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing tools and data visualization (e.g., SQL Server Analysis Services, SQL Server Reporting Services) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
