Infopulse Assists Microsoft IT Academy

With the support of Infopulse an agreement to implement the Microsoft IT Academy project was signed between Microsoft Corporation and East Ukrainian Volodymyr Dahl National University.

The project launch took place within the framework of IT Forum “We Like IT” in Lugansk.

On that day the awards were also given to the winners of the open IT projects’ contest of Business incubator of the Institute of Computer Systems and Information Technologies of Volodymyr Dahl University.

About the IT projects’ contest

More than 30 projects in the IT sphere, Cloud Computing, Mobile, Social Networking were presented at the contest by the students and pupils of Lugansk region.

Highly-qualified jury, chaired by Sergii Palieiev, Infopulse representative, estimated the participants’ works.

I was entrusted with an honorable role of a chairman of the jury initiated by the Institute of computer systems and information technologies management. IT projects’ contest appeared to be rather diverse in quality and implementation area. The awards with the Infopulse logo were given to the first three nominations. An agreement was signed with Volodymyr Dahl University serving as a long-lasting cooperation guarantee according to which head-end equipment for system deployment of Moodle distance learning was already handed in December last year.

Infopulse is glad to support the educational projects and is planning to continue the cooperation with East Ukrainian Volodymyr Dahl National University, on the base of which these programs are carried out.

Business incubator is an innovation community that creates the necessary conditions for developing startup projects in the IT sphere and encourages attracting the investments.

Microsoft IT Academy is an international training program of preparing IT specialists in the educational establishments, due to which students get an access to the leading IT courses and certifications. The project implies involving Microsoft certified tutors and using Microsoft E-learning portfolio, Microsoft electronic directory and many other resources.

After the program, the participants pass the certification in Microsoft (“Microsoft specialist Office, MOS”, “Technology Associate, MTA”, ”Certified Professional, MCP”) if they wish.
