Senior PM/Deployment Manager

Infopulse is inviting a talented professional to join our growing team as a Senior PM/Deployment Manager for a leading European universal bank. Welcome to the Release and Change Management, as a member of the System Releases team. We add value by ensuring that CBP deployments and migrations are planned and executed in a quick and efficient manner, with the least disruption for customers. As Deployment Manager you’ll play a valuable role in preparing and executing deployment/migration/load activities and coordinating events needed to ensure the successful implementation of CBP deliverables. 

Areas of Responsibility

• Drive a temporary team of project managers and deployment specialists.
• Work with cross-functional and cross-product teams to come up with and manage deployment/migration schedules and milestones
• Take on process improvement initiatives with stakeholders.
• Analyze releases/migration scope to foresee potential deployment/ migration plan inputs.
• Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews.
• Identify, manage risks and clearly communicate them to program/project stakeholders while proposing solutions.
• Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment / migration plans.
• Drive war-rooms and defect triage process. 

Qualifications

• IT Project management and planning skills, including hands on experience in using project planning tools (7+ years).
• Understanding of technology solution architecture.
• Experienced in incident, change and release management.
• Understanding of Agile methodology (knowledge about continues delivery pipeline and release on demand).
• Understanding of QA/Test strategy, management and processes.
• Understanding of application and data migration projects.
• Knowledge of defect tracking systems (e.g. JIRA, Helix).
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
• Basic understanding of DevOps ways of working.
