Areas of Responsibility
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for backend and frontend scenarios following Test Pyramid
- Conduct testing activities from collecting test requirements, building test strategy, defining test design, setting up test environment to regression testing and release (End-to-End testing)
- Validate functional and technical design documents, provide testing estimates
- Collaborate in an agile environment (Scrum) and communicate effectively with international teams
- Stay updated on best practices in automated testing and agile methodologies
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Java core
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience in test automation for API/backend scenarios
- Experience with GIT, CI (Jenkins), Maven or equivalent
- Experience with UNIX
- Good knowledge of testing theory
- Understanding and experience working according to agile principles (Scrum)
- Knows benefits of automated testing and when it is applicable
- Practical experience with low level tests automation according to testing pyramid
Will be an advantage
- Knowledge of JavaScript
- Experience with Playwright
- Familiar with Jira, Zephyr for Jira
Personal skills
- Pro-active communication in case of questions, issues, improvement proposals etc.
- Ability to abstract complex solution, validate functional analysis and technical design document, provide estimates
- Strong Time management skills and eager to easily switch context/be flexible
