Infopulse Ukraine Has Implemented Corporate Portal in Kyivstar

Infopulse Ukraine company has completed the project on the corporate portal implementation for Kyivstar, the national telecom operator.

The current economic situation in the world requires of many companies improvement and optimisation of their internal processes, of the so-called “smart technology solutions”. We are not an exception. Second year in a row Kyivstar has been advancing on the way of operating efficiency. The given project has become the part of this process. The implemented portal has provided the tools for automatisation of many daily managerial and administrative tasks by reducing the time of search for the necessary information and thus has made team work more effective.

The system of implementation standard control based on MS SharePoint 2007 and MS Project Server has been introduced within the project framework. The system allows appointing employees responsible, controlling the project proceedings, publishing project plans in the corporate internal system to facilitate coordination between the projects, creating and systematising archive databases easy for navigation; besides, it implements a range of analytical reports based on Reporting Services, by using MS Project Server data.

Apart from realising the standard set of features of MS SharePoint 2007, the specialists from Infopulse have implemented a number of additional solutions: they have realised a full-text search in the documents, which are located on the portal and in the archive file system. Besides, they have created a solution for joint work at document bodies, which is approved and confirmed by the people in charge, as well as have customised sending email notifications about changes done to the texts.
